Katie Doyle is a CAPPA-trained doula and a childbirth educator with Birthing from Within™, an organization that conceptualizes birth as a rite of passage and emphasizes holistic, whole-person education and mentorship.

Katie’s interest in birth began in her young adult years, when she was a volunteer in the labor & delivery unit at Saratoga Hospital. Although her professional career led her in a different direction, Katie’s passion for the pre/perinatal period was re-ignited through her own doula-supported unmedicated birth experience, and journey to prepare for it.

In addition to her work in childbirth education, Katie has also trained as a traditional herbalist. She is an avid gardener and maintains an organic herb and vegetable garden on her 9-acre homestead in Schuylerville, NY.
